I have "Officially" been in nursing since 1981 and have had many roles and experiences in nursing, consultation, leadership and mentoring. I started in the Neonatal ICU (only because they would not take ew grads in child psych always my first love). I have worked in psych since 1985 and an APRN since 1992. I have a a variety of spcy experiences from in-patient, to consult liaison, and have had private practice since 1992. I have been the director of the graduate psych program at the University of Louisville School of Nursing since 2007.
i enjoy writing, learning, and I can't believe I get to do something I love so much and get paid for it. I completed the Master Psychopharmacology Fellowship through the Neuroscience Institute in December of 2014 and am have credentials of Certified Master Psychopharmacologist (CMP). I am a regional speaker for Assurexhealth on Pharmacogenomics. I love doing therapy and working with adolescent girls and women on a variety of issues. I love doing interpersonal growth groups.
