Hi Everyone
My experience with Anthen BcBS in Connecticut has bee different
I have not seen a copay for each code billed.
They do not have the therapy add on codes, 90833,90836,90838 on the APRN fee schedule.
They do have therapy codes 90832,90834,90837 I have added them to 99 codes and have been paid.
payment for codes are as follows
NEW AdMit
99203-58$
99204-89$ ADD ONS ALLOWED
99205-107$
ESTABLISHED
99213- 58$
99214-89$ ADD ONS ALLOWED
99215-107$
therapy codes(they have allowed to use as add on to 99 codes)
90832-30 min-50$
90834-45 min-76$
90837-60 min- 91$
So a new admit that is of moderate complexity and get 60 minutes of time(therapy must be documented on a sepaerate note) I do a soap style note. = 180$ (includes copay)
I used to get 120$
So more money to be made and more paperwork!!
Any thoughts???
