Bio

Lora Humphrey Beebe, PhD, PMHNP-BC, is a professor at the University of Tennessee College of Nursing and a psychiatric nursing researcher for 16 years. Her research focuses on adherence and motivation and their relationships to the physical and mental health of persons with schizophrenia spectrum disorders; she has received over $2.5 in federal funding. Beebe is coordinator of the graduate concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing with primary teaching and advising responsibilities for all psychiatric mental health graduate students in the college.
