I grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts and after high school my academic training consisted of obtaining a Diploma in Nursing in 1979 at The Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. In 1982 I completed BSN training at Syracuse Univeristy and then after moving to San Francisco, California in 1983,
I became employed at Stanford University Medical Center in their CCU and Cardiac Stepdown Unit and at the same time began graduate and post-graduate studies at The California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant University in Berkeley/SanFrancisco, Califonia
By 1990, I had obtained both an MA and Ph.D., in Clinical Psychology and became licensed to practice as a clinical psychologist in Massachusetts. Subsequently, after 20 years of clinical practice as a clinical psychologist, while raising my 2 children, I returned to school for the purpose of completing my life-long goal toward integrating my training as a psychologist with my nursing training by becoming a Family PMHNP . I completed this program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA and hope to sit and pass the board certification examination within the next couple months.
Since 2008, I opened a private practice in Westborough, Massachusetts. The name of my practice is "Integrated Behavioral Health, LLC" . Ultimately, I hope to employ and work collaboratively with colleagues including those who might be interested to work with me.
