Hello All!

I am recruiting for a qualitative research study exploring experiences of parents/caregivers of youth who have had a suicide crises. For adolescents, parents are the facilitators of care but their role and experiences are not well understood. I want to get a wide variety of parents and other caregivers as possible and not simply report on a single experience, so I would appreciate it if people would distribute information about the study to clients, parents/caregivers of clients, or other groups that may be interested and able to help me to get a broad understanding of the topic.

I've attached our research flyer, but briefly the study is 45-60 minute interviews with:
  • Parents or other caregivers of adolescents
  • The adolescent had a suicide crisis where treatment or evaluation was sought
  • In the past three years
  • And the youth was 12-18 during at least some of the crisis period.

Thank you and feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns! If you would be willing to spread information about the study OR have questions, please contact me at guy.weissinger@villanova.edu. I have pdf and Microsoft Word versions of the flyer and links to the participant interest survey.
