Required:
- Earned doctorate (PhD or DNP)
- National Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health APRN
- Professional experience commensurate with rank
- Evidence of teaching experience
- Defined area of research/scholarly activity
Desirable:
- Three years recent clinical experience as PMHNP
- Online education experience
- Eligibility for RN/APRN license in Tennessee
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all facets of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner BSN-DNP Concentration and Graduate Certificate Program
- Instruction of graduate students in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner graduate
- Innovations in course design, curricular updates and curriculum
- Service to the School and
- Promotion of the PMHNP program and maintenance of high academic
- Collaboration with CON administration to manage faculty/student issues/concerns.
