I am an APNA Board of Directors 2018 Scholar. I currently attend The University of Pennsylvania's Accelerated BSN/MSN program, and will graduate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in May 2020.
Psychiatry is in my blood because I am the daughter of a psychiatrist and a psychiatric social worker. I hope to incorporate genetic testing into my future practice, along with food allergy testing (to help reduce sources of inflammation), screening for sleep apnea and vitamin deficiency testing to provide patients with holistic treatment. I hope to provide CBT-I, medication management, individual therapy, and help my patients achieve remission through an anti-inflammatory diet and exercise regimen.
I am interested in working for an outpatient practice that believes in holistic treatment for patients, and utilizes cutting edge advances in psychiatric nursing.
