Hello! I am originally from Portland, Oregon, I joined the Army at the tender age of 18 to see the world and get my feet wet in the medical field as a Combat Medic. I enjoyed my time in the service and the years immediately following when I taught for the military. It was in nursing school that I discovered my passion for Mental Health Nursing but I still desired to have some sort of medical background, hence my 1st year in critical care. I eventually found my way to Omaha, NE by way of a patient I was taking care of in AZ and liked it so much I decided to stay. My faith plays an important role in my life, my practice and my resiliency while working in mental health. In the coming years I plan to obtain my APRN with a specialty in psych/mental health.
