I love being a psychiatric nurse! After 24 years as an inpatient psych nurse, I returned to school to earn a BSN, a MSN in the PMHNP Program, and a DNP at the U of Utah. I am fortunate to work with PMHNP students as an instructor at the U of Utah. My passion is to invite and inspire psychiatric nurses to participate in professional nursing behaviors such as continuing education, specialty certification and membership in our professional organization.
