Hello everyone and welcome to the new year! 2015 has a lot of good things in store for the APNA NJ chapter. First we have three newly elected board members, Craig Shepard (President elect), Veronica Jensen (Secretary) and Mary Williams (Board Member at Large). We are in the planning stages of the spring conference, which will be held at the Cranbury Inn in Cranbury NJ on April 26th. It is a wonderful brunch and will present the topic Violence in Psychiatric Nursing.
We are also considering what the topic for our fall conference should be, and we would love to hear from you. In order for a board to be effective, there must be member participation! We would love to have some volunteers to work with us on conference planning, educational offerings, a monthly newsletter and member collaboration and contacts. Our board can only meet your needs if we know what they are, and have volunteers willing to help us meet the needs of our members.
So we invite you all to let us know what you need from us and how you would like to actively participate in our state chapter. AND.... Please save the date APRIL 26th, 2015 to be able to attend our spring conference.
