I am a psychiatric nurse currently working as a Charge Nurse and Staff RN on a high-acuity involuntary inpatient psychiatry unit at RWJBarnabas Health. I am currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Rutgers University, with a strong interest in advancing evidence-based psychiatric care and improving patient outcomes. I also hold an MBA and an MSN in Nursing Leadership, which allow me to bring a systems-based, leadership-driven perspective to clinical practice. My professional background includes critical care nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and experience collaborating with healthcare teams through medical device sales and clinical support roles.
I am passionate about crisis intervention, interdisciplinary collaboration, stigma reduction, and advocating for compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. I am actively seeking mentorship opportunities through APNA to support my continued growth as a future PMHNP, with the long-term goal of practicing in private practice.
