Dear APNA Members,

Thanksgiving is a very special holiday. It is an opportunity to reflect on the many blessings in one’s life. Psychiatric-mental health nurses have a passion for what they do that is beyond measure. Every day you do something that few have the capacity, talent, and drive to achieve. In times of stress, confusion, and despair you give patients and families hope. Our world needs hope. By giving it, you offer expectations for a brighter future. There can never be enough words or ways to say thanks for all you do. You truly are a blessing.Thank you and happy Thanksgiving!

Please enjoy a free continuing nursing education podcast from last month’s APNA 30th Annual Conference as a token of our appreciation. The podcast, Choosing to Lead, offers 1.0 contact hours and will enhance your core understanding of leadership and courage – two qualities which you use daily to give hope. This CNE will be available for free to everyone through December 21st. You can access it here.

Be Safe,
Nicholas Croce Jr, MS
