Hello!  My name is Elizabeth Hartlaub, and I am an APRN currently working toward my Post-Masters degree certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing through an online program at Maryville University.  My master’s degree in adult health was received from the University of South Florida in 2015.  I am currently IN SEARCH OF A PRECEPTOR that would allow me to work with them in a PSYCHIATRIC SETTING in order to fulfill my clinical site requirements towards my degree.  The semester I am currently in need of a preceptor for is the SUMMER SEMESTER THAT STARTS  5/03/21. Criteria for a preceptor include a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, a LSCW, or a psychiatrist.  I need both “prescribing” hours (65 hours) as well as “psychotherapy” hours (150 hours).  If you feel that you would be interested in offering your time and expertise to help me with either or both of these, or if you know of anyone that might be, I would greatly appreciate it and can send you more information about what the clinicals must entail.  I am very motivated, and very passionate about this field and am so excited for this opportunity.  I live in the Tampa Bay area, however am willing to travel if needed to other parts of central Florida.  Just so you know, TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS ARE APPROVED as well, and I am willing and able to complete my internship in this manner. Thank you for your valued time!
