??Six point Restraint

I cannot figure out what's a 6 point restraint! In our facillity we use a maximum of 4 points.There has to be an evaluation by an RN or Md within 1 hour, The order cannot exceed 4 hrs.and the client has to be on a 1:1 for the duration of the restraint. I work in behavioral Health..no vests!

Somewhere in the back of my brain I do recall seeing something about a 6 point restraint. Where did you see this? If I recall it was related to the ER
