Hello! I am a student at University of North Florida in the online PMHNP program. I am hoping to find a preceptor for the summer semester, beginning May 11, 2020. The focus of this semester is children and adolescents, and I will need a minimum of 90 hours between May 11 and July 31. Due to COVID-19, my school is allowing telepsych hours.
I am currently working as an FNP in an Internal Medicine practice in Okeechobee, FL, where I have been for the past three years. Nursing is a career change for me, and prior to obtaining my MSN in 2016, I was a teacher and a drug and alcohol therapist in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to my MSN, I have a MS in Psychology, and a M.Ed. in Education. I will also be completing my coursework for my DNP this summer.
