The ALS Association- Greater Philadelphia Chapter is seeking a part –time Adv Practice Psych Nurse to provide assessment, coordination of mental health care, and emotional support to ALS patients and their families in the tri-state (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware) area as part of an interdisciplinary team. Care settings include an out-patient ALS clinic, home visits and nursing facilities. Duties include the provision of support groups and psychoeducational programs. A Masters prepared psychiatric/mental health RN with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred. Applicant should be comfortable functioning as both independent practitioner and member of interdisciplinary team. Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel in tri state area.
