Each month, the Research Council Steering Committee features an article written by an APNA member.

This month we are featuring an article by Dr. Karen Jennings Mathis and colleagues titled, Mixture Modeling to Characterize Anorexia Nervosa: Integrating Personality and Eating Disorder Psychopathology.

Article Highlight: Anorexia nervosa is a complex mental disorder. We tested an alternative classification based on co-occurrence of personality and eating disorder psychopathology. Results suggest that we consider how clinical presentation beyond eating disorder behaviors may indicate different treatment.
