This month we are featuring an article by Dr. Kortney Floyd James and colleagues titled, Examining the Relationship Between Black Racial Identity Clusters and Postpartum Depressive Symptoms published in JAPNA.
Article Highlight: Culturally relevant methods are needed to better serve Black mothers’ mental health needs. This study was the first to examine the relationship between Black racial identity, a culturally relevant concept shown to correlate with mental health, and the postpartum mental health of Black women.
