Social Work patient ratio

I am interested to hear how other adult psych units staff their Social Workers.  In our unit, they do discharge planning, but not insurance cert and re-cert.  Our ratio is 10 pts. to one Social Worker.  Any other models others may be using ?

​We also have a social work ratio of about 1 to 10 or 11 at max. The social worker does not do any utilization review work but does group, as well as family meetings, individual meetings, assessments and of course aftercare planning. Our model does include that the social worker have a significant role in treatment planning as well.
