The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations and providing ongoing medication management. Facilitate ongoing behavioral health services for clients, individual and family support, psychopharmacology assessments, medication monitoring and management, behavioral assessments and monitoring, education regarding medication, side effects and behavioral health resources. Maintain all required paperwork and documentation necessary including clinically appropriate and timely. Communicate and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure continuum of care and appropriateness for level of care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and weekly supervision with medical director. Participate in ongoing staff development training to maintain and improve personal knowledge base.
Required experience:
Experience in behavioral health practices or settings required.
Certification/Licensure:
NYS Professional Registered Nurse license required.
NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
Education requirements:
MSN required (Behavioral Health required).
Computer/Equipment skills:
Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Experience in patient registries / data mining applications preferred.
Salary Range: $116,000.00 - $142,000.00
