Dear Colorado Colleagues,
I'm a Psych NP in the Denver area. I am looking for another prescriber who's willing to provide "on-call" telephone coverage for my private practice for times when I'm traveling and/or can't respond to urgent client needs. Probably, the best arrangement would be to "trade" coverage- I would cover for you when needed and you would cover for me when needed.
OVERVIEW:
- Trade* on-call phone coverage approx 10-15 days/yr.
*(Or, can be paid per day of phone coverage, if preferred)
- On-call clinician fully covered by my business' malpractice coverage (can be named on policy, if desired)
- Outpatient private practice (Calm Clarity Mental Health)
-- One clinician (me) & office manager
-- Low acuity adolescents (12+ yrs) & adults (medication mgmt & psychotherapy)
-- Approx 250-300 active clients
-- Most calls/texts would be for prescription refills (only if urgent), or medication questions.
-- Basic crisis triage, if needed (very, very rare). Appt scheduling handled by office manager.
- Separate cell phone dedicated to client calls (can be lent, if desired)
- Electronic fax and EHR (so, no need to access paper records or physical office)
**I'll be in town for this winter (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day). So, I don't need coverage anytime soon**
