Collaborative physician fee

By Whitney Supernavage posted 07-31-2017 10:31 AM

Hello, I have recently begun working with a collaborative physician who is part of a larger group. I am doing hospital evaluations for his practice. His practice took care of credentialing, will be doing all of my billing, and will be providing me with a regular set fee for services, not waiting for the billing to go through (or not). Does anyone else have a similar relationship? My question is-because different types of patients and visits will reimburse different amounts, I would like to come up with a percentage of the expected reimbursement to be the rate he pays me for different visits. Any suggestions/feedback for what a fair percentage rate would be?

I do not know about percentage.  think it depends on what area you live in. In East Texas, the going rate for a psychiatrist is about $1000/mo. to collaborate- flat rate.
