This mentor matching tool helps you find and reach out to psychiatric-mental health nurse mentors or mentees who share your interests and goals. Whether you're a new graduate looking for help making the transition to practice or retired longtime nurse looking to give back, this tool is here to help you make connections to start a mentoring relationship. Mentoring connections can happen virtually, by phone, or in person...whatever works best for you!


1. Fill in Your Profile

Tell your APNA community about your experience, interests, and more so others can find you.

2. Choose Your Role

Sign up for the role(s) you're to take in your mentoring relationship.

💡Enroll as a mentor, a mentee - or both!



3. Find Your Match

Search the mentoring directory to find potential mentors or mentees who share your interests and goals. After you've found someone you'd like to work with, click the 'Mentor/Mentee Request' button to send them a message and invite them to begin a mentoring relationship.

4. After You Connect

Once your mentoring invitation is accepted, you can:
