I finish the NKU PMHNP program in August 2024 and will move to Honolulu Hawaii at that time, and am actively pursuing opportunities and connections within the service network on Oahu. I have 20 years combined experience in substance abuse and mental health, five years in the ED doing mental health emergency evaluations and placement, and six years as a Registered Nurse. I have worked both floor and management of an adult inpatient unit and am an Aegis Non Violent Intervention Program certified trainer. My loves are addiction recovery and severe mental illness especially with those that have been or are experiencing homelessness. My interests include harm reduction, group and individual counseling, and teaching.
