My professional journey began over a decade ago in the high-stakes environment of the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit, where I served as a Respiratory Therapist for 13 years. In this demanding setting, I witnessed firsthand the profound and growing mental health crises impacting both our patients and dedicated frontline staff. The urgency of these needs sparked a clear passion for psychiatry and holistic care. This led me to pursue a career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I now utilize this diverse clinical background in my current role at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUMC) Behavioral Health Urgent Care, where I am dedicated to providing timely and compassionate mental health support for those needing crisis care.
