Hello! A little about me. I am originally from Upstate New York (Rochester), upon graduation from High School, enlisted in the United States Air Force and studied in Biloxi Mississippi for six months before a five year tour in the Republic of the Philippines. I married and had a son here and then traveled with my husband to Pakistan for two years and Germany for 3 years. We all came back to the US in 1996 and settled in Conesus (Co-knee-sus) NY to allow our son to complete school and learn about his country until his graduation in 2005. When my son left for a tour with the US Navy, I went back to school to complete my Bachelor's of Nursing Science at St. John Fisher College. I moved to Oklahoma in 2014 and except for my first year of nursing, I have spent all of my years as a Psych Nurse and educator. I received my Master's of Nursing Education in 2020 from Capella University and am now working on my Post Master's certificate to respond to the shortage of Psych caregivers and become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Maryville University. I have worked with INTEGRIS Health which is a most incredible and dynamic organization here in the Oklahoma Metro for the last eight and a half years.
