I have been privileged for more than 40 years as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse to journey with individuals, families, and communities in all aspects of mental health and mental illness--primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions. Along with the breadth and depth of my clinical practice, I have the joy of preparing future clinicians for over 20 years as a full time faculty member at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the specialty of psychiatric mental health nursing. Additionally, I have held academic and clinical leadership positions that provide valuable insights into policy, advocacy, and systemic innovations.
