I have been in nursing since 1975, working in pediatrics (Burn unit, ICU, nursery), post coronary and then "had to cross-train" to psychiatry. I was hooked!! 30 years after gradating with my BSN I earned my MSN from NMSU. I taught there for several years while working in El Paso, the community mental health in Las Cruces, private practice and Mesilla Valley Hospital. Now I live in Santa Fe and continue to stay active in hospital settings.
