Hi! My name is Hunter, and I am a registered nurse with seven years of diverse clinical experience. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2018 and began my career in emergency medicine, where I also served as a travel nurse across multiple states and healthcare systems. These opportunities allowed me to develop a broad and adaptable skill set, as well as gain invaluable insight into patient care in varied environments.
I have held leadership roles, including serving as a charge nurse at various Emergency Department settings. My surgical nursing experience includes circulating and scrubbing in plastics, robotics, urology, general surgery, oncology, and more, as well as working on a specialized liver transplant team.
In January 2022, I began my Master of Science in Nursing–Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Texas at Arlington and will graduate in the summer of 2026. I am deeply passionate about providing compassionate, holistic care and have a strong interest in maternal and pediatric mental health. As I transition into advanced practice, I am seeking mentorship to help guide my growth and clinical expertise in these areas.
