I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and currently work as a Registered Nurse in inpatient behavioral health at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital. My training includes nearly 3,000 hours of clinical experience across Aurora Behavioral Health, the Dewey Center, and community health settings, where I gained extensive experience treating patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders.
As I transition into NP practice, I am especially interested in addiction medicine, evidence-based psychopharmacology, and integrated care for patients with complex comorbidities. My long-term goal is to establish my own private psychiatric practice after gaining 1–2 years of NP experience.
Having had a mentor when I began my RN career, I know the value of guidance in navigating new professional challenges. I hope to connect with a mentor who can help me strengthen my clinical expertise, grow in the field of behavioral health and substance use treatment, and build a solid foundation for a successful career as a PMHNP.
