Dr. Martha J. “Molly” Faulkner is an Associate Professor, Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Social Worker in the Division of Community Behavioral Health in the University of New Mexico Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Faulkner currently serves as the Clinical Director of the State Behavioral Health Workforce Initiative and Training Director for the Division of Community Behavioral Health. Her many duties include but are not limited to developing stakeholder groups in workforce development to identify and move forward relevant workforce topics, researching and developing white papers to inform interested parties on all things workforce development, delivering telepsychiatric services to children and adolescents, programmatically administering and providing clinical supervision program for masters level clinicians, and administering a health professions training grant on Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment for risky substance use.  Dr. Faulkner’s career as a registered nurse, clinical social worker, nurse practitioner and doctorate spans 39 years, serving primarily underserved clients in Oklahoma, Alaska and New Mexico.  She received her BSN at the University of Oklahoma, her MSW at New Mexico Highlands University, and her MSN and PhD in nursing at the University of New Mexico.
