I am a DNP graduate of Case Western Reserve University. My specialty is Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and I have been employed since 2000 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA. I work in community outpatient services serving veterans in a rural and semi-rural setting. I am a member of research council at the Louis Stokes VA.
My research interests involve veteran's perceptions of the VA, veterans health beliefs, and veterans participation in their health care. I am particularly interested in the concept of stoicism in the veteran population as it impacts health beliefs
