I have been a nurse since 1995, starting as an LPN, and received my RN in 1997. I worked in telemetry, and PCU predominately, but have worked in other areas including holding and recovery and ambulatory surgery. I have been working as a Mental Health Nurse full time since 2015 after the death of my brother by suicide. I am passionate about what I do, and see many Health disparities in patients with mental illness.
