I have had the opportunity to be employed as a psychiatric nurse since graduating nursing school over 30 years ago. I believe in life long education and have now entered a psychiatric nurse practitioner program.
In working as a psych consultation liaison nurse I am able to provide expert support, education and collaboration to healthcare professionals to meet the needs of the mental health patient in a general hospital setting.
