Susan E. Jacobson is ANCC certified as a PMHNP and as an Adult Psychiatric CNS. She is licensed in Virginia as an RN, CNS, NP, and has an Autonomous License. Susan was active in the Virginia Chapter and planned Conferences in 2017 and 2018. She served a 5-year term as Co-Chair of the Northern Virginia Coalition Refugee Wellness. She previously served on the City of Fairfax Human Services Committee.
Her roles in APNA have included the Nominations Committee, 1999 Best Practice in Schizophrenia Award for A Community Based Program, Co-Chair National Capital Chapter, Susan coordinated 2 conferences sponsored by the Capital Chapter.
Susan held academic appointments at Boston University, Catholic University, Howard University, George Mason University, and Regis College.
